Well, folks, I just arranged a trade that'll ship off the remaining 08 A&G extras I have. I don't plan to buy anymore packs or blasters, and can't bother tracking down the few icons I'm missing until I'm comfy in the new job... so, this is it for 08 A&G for me for at least a couple months.

I'll still be reading the thread to chit-chat and see what sweet cards you guys get.

My guess will be between $1,200-$2,000. On the one hand, he's popular nowadays (more so than he was when he was in office!). On the other hand, his hair must be readily available... well, you know what I mean.

Anyone already completed the odds calculation on the increase in A&G production over 2007? Per my rough calculations it looks like Topps produced about 40% more of the product in 2008 over 2007. If I've already missed a post on this let me know. I was surprised at the size of the increase.

Per my calculations here are the approximate A&G packs produced (Hobby & Retail):
2006: 1,295,000
2007: 1,867,000
2008: 2,640,000

Received packages from cwazzy, Rube, Guru, and tm4537. I know Travis (tm4537) is new around here so I specifically wanted to call his name out to say it was a beautiful trade on his end. I hope he's as satisfied.

Randy sent his package just because he's a nice guy, no trade.

Also a special thanks to Guru for including a nice Frank Thomas GU jersey card that I didn't previously have in my collection. A very nice gesture and very much appreciated.
