My not so PCGS PR70DCAM 2006 ASE...
Here is a picture of my 2006-W Proof ASE graded PR70DCAM by our friends at PCGS...

and here is an image of it after a year and a half in the holder.....

Gotta love the mint and their damn milk spots. It's my one and only PR70 DCAM....or was anyway.

I'll bet PCGS will buy the coin back from you.
Looks like classic milkspotting.
Prior to slabbing, a rinse in acetone would have likely stabilized it, but otherwise, looks like this is one of the affected ones
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
It is definitely a warranty issue. They wont mind cause its so new ... its the older ones they are not going to want to buy back.
Good luck
<< <i>All the more reason why I'm selling off my entire set. >>
I already did. It was a ton of work to constantly watch the set for signs of trouble and finding no problem replacements. I finally had it so most of them did not spot but gave up as a whole.

This is why I sold my enitire set of ASEs over two years ago. Its a heart breaker to pull out your collection every two months and see ANOTHER one of your PCGS slabbed coins get milk spots.
They still aint got it figured out.......before slabbing and/or after slabbing.
<< <i>I thought PCGS had a dip to remove milk spots off a proof but not for the uncircs. >>
i believe pcgs is offering a 50,000 reward for a solution to the spotting problem. anybody correct me if i am wrong.
<< <i>I have mint sealed box of 10 ASE don't know what I should do? At one time these boxes were selling @ 8000.00. Don't know what I could get now? any ideas???????????????
I'd be afraid... very afraid. People say even being sealed in those boxes didn't help. I know that's no help to you but "if it was me" I'd open them for a look and sell them. I'd think any buyer who knows about the spots would be wary of buying them unseen.
