    But I think it might actually be post mint damage. At least, I suspect so. I think I need an experts opinion.

    The guy on eBay, mr naru, assured me it was real.

    23 and wish i had sold all of them. Did not pay premium for any of them. Should have more but i screwed up. My dealer had 3 rolls and i just had enough cash to buy 2 rolls on me. I bought both rolls without ever looking at them. I was afraid to cherry pick them in front of him. I bought the 2 rolls left and went thru them in the car. Found 23. So i drove to my bank to get some more cash out of my savings account to get the 3rd roll. (no debit card) I went back to get the 3rd roll and as soon as i walked in the door the dealer knew what i was doing. Some idiot had called looking for the "error ASE". My dealer had already gone thru the roll. There were 11 there. He kept asking me how many were in the other 2 rolls. I finally told him 2. image. He was willing to sell the 11 for 60 dollars each and i passed.

    Um, no biggie, but these didn't come in rolls?

    So how did you manage to sell them short and when do you plan to cover?

    The local dealers in my area do not order from the mint. They get there ASE and mint/proof sets from some guy that has been dealing with the mint for 50 plus years. My dealer apparntly ordered 60 from the guy. My dealer sold them as indivigials or by the roll. How they originated i have no idea. If you want to buy them the price is 10 bucks less that coast to coast price. I will eat the shipping

    After the John Nanney craziness thread began, I got lucky with an order of 8 for 8 from the Mint.
    I sold a few raw, picked up a few graded and am now left with the following...

    The craze is pretty much over already?

    The smart ones got rid of as many as they had as soon as they could for as much as they could get.Keep one only as a souvenir of good fortune and dump the rest.
