I have to say I disagree with it too and I don't even think I buy the Relic/Auto list either. I'm 99.9999999% sure A-Rod is a short print and he's card #1.

TOPPS CONFIRMS 08 ALLEN & GINTER SHORT PRINTS
Topps confirms that there are several short printed autographed cards, relic cards and base cards (image attached) in the recently-released 2008 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball. In addition there are RED INK autograph variations limited to just 10 copies each. The subjects and quantities are as follows.

The SP's sit on top of the mini card. That's where my Arod sat and someone else said the same thing. Has anyone gotten an AROD that they know for sure came from another spot in the pack?
That said, it is also where just about all of my 300's came from, so maybe the list is almost 100% correct, but I just don't believe it is as simple as the last 50 cards.
I think Ichiro may be an SP card as well.

I managed to wake up very early this morning to continue to crack some of my case - got through just over one more box before the rest of the house woke up (my wife's sister & husband and their 4 kids are with us - total of 6 kids age 7 or less = fun). Managed to pull a Soriano rip card, but still no ink yet. Great looking set, and I think the Neshek card is my new fave. There have been some great pulls so far from this group, and the trading is sure to be fast and furious in a week or so - can't wait!
Bill, I know that 1 of the Arods came over the mini, not sure about the other. The thing is that there are 24 cards over a mini in a box, sometimes it's the crack the code card....they can't all be SP's and I'm just going by # of each card pulled from a fairly small sample. I noticed in this last (#6) box, several cards that I don't think I've pulled yet that were over the mini but weren't 300 #'ed (Manny, Randy Johnson). I don't claim to know , just making my observations.
Yeow indeed Dave! I'm working as many angles as I can to get some "alone with my cards" time, but it'll probably come at the expense of sleep. Probably worth it...

Glad to be useful. Has anyone else noticed the creases on the back of cards 9,38,77,138,149,181,192,237,246 and 248. I pulled multiples of each and the crease is in the exact same spot on each of the cards.

So it looks like there are red auto's with the window/border. I assume it is like last year in that not everyone has a red auto who has an auto ? Also, the red auto mini's come out of rip cards right ?
The Bazooka Backs do not seem to be as plentiful this year, I did pull several aviation cards out of my boxes, but only 1 Team Orange. Soon Zep will be opening his boxes and we will get to see the remainder of the DNA and cut auto cards all in one scan.
OK, I've managed to secure an hour or two to open some boxes undisturbed. Just pulled a Mike Hampton relic, which got me to thinking, if the jersey swatch in this card is in fact "game used," when is it from? He hasn't pitched since '05, right?

I just checked and I have 145 cards numbered 301 to 350, but for some reason I still do not believe that the 301 to 350 SP list is correct.
