Here is the link so you can watch the auction...Just got my submission back today which included this 1975 Topps Mini Rod Carew...

According to VCP, the last time this card sold on ebay/auction houses is 12/7/06 (yep, thats right, 2006) at a price of 203.38. So, the contest is simple. Guess the final bid on this gem and win this PSA 8 Bowery Bank Joe DiMaggio...

Your guess must be in by Tues, July 8 at 9 pm PST. (12 am EST). Only one guess per person! Good luck!

I would never guess there is so much interest in that card...must be set collectors right?
It also doesn't look like a 9 to me...slightly oc l-r, color not bright, and bottom right corner could be sharper....but if it got the grade for some registry collector needs it to be on top...

I have a good scanner except when it scans slabbed cards. Dont know why. But the card is PSA 9 worthy. I opened it out of the 75 mini pack...I'll see if I can find the raw scan.

Here it is. Centering is within 9 standards even thought its slightly off. Mini collectors know how difficult a perfectly centered one is. Carew is a pretty low pop in 9+, thats why the interest.

Heck, feel free to critisize it all you want. I dont mind. I know the centering isnt perfect but it falls within the PSA 9 standards. Would I want it in my collection if I was into a 9+ set? Maybe. I dont have it to compare to others so really impossible for me to say. It may be great for that card or it may be average? I really dont know.
