Mark Goodman and LeeG are tied for second; Mark Feld was first.

I always enjoy a Gecko thread, you never know what's gonna happen. RYK is always interesting to read. Longacre's sometimes are just way over my head, hahaha.

TomB, by far, starts the best threads. Although few & far between, they are knowledgeable,
provide insight, information and are polite. All the things this forum needs.

Feld used to do that,,,until he was slapped down. image

Any member, at any time and any subject, has started a "best thread". Perception is not the same for all. The names mentioned are certainly not single candlesticks waiting to be puffed out, but neither are they the sole source of interest. Excepting myself, since I have never started a Thread, I find interest in every one that I read, with various types of emotional response. I like the variety. Respectfully, John Curlis

There are several posters whose responses I read, no matter who starts the thread. Just to take one example, I always read what Pistareen writes, although to my knowledge he has not started many threads (if any) at all.

Are you looking for most entertaining or the most educational?

Most entertaining would probably be Saintguru. Most educational would probably be RWB, Firstmint, and Mark Goodman.

John K. is one of the most knowledgable people on the forums.

Also add Andy Lustig (MrEureka) and Tom Delorey (CaptHenway) to the list.

I would like to add Keets and Sanction II to the list. Sometimes I do not understand what the latter is asking (or telling) us, but they make me think, anyway.

I also enjoy all of the threads that indicate the daily price changes of matte Proof Lincolns by whoever starts them over on the Registry Forum. They remind me of Glengarry Glen Ross. image
