Good luck. What type of work are you seeking and will you relocate? Lots of opportunity here in Seattle. Cheers, RickO

I have been doing Systems administration work for the past 13yrs. Moved here to Colorado when my office in San Jose was closing, was here in CO for 11 months and was notified that the company had been bought out.

Not interested in moving so soon, my daughter starts 9th grade next yr and has tons of friends.

Sorry to hear that news. The upside is that good systems people seem to be in demand. Good luck!

Sorry to hear it. I have had three downturns since 2K. I finally found a great position. I am still shovelling out from under from the last one. There is a hugh storm on the horizon. You might want to make sure your position is good before it gets here. She can find new friends in your new home town.

That sucks all day long. Denver is supposed to be a very techy community so I hope you will find an even better job. I have a sister that works on the Sun Microsystems campus in the Denver area. Its on the north side of Denver. She loves the area. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your job! But I know a few people in the Denver area that work in that field, and one switched jobs recently so they are out there.

Good luck with the hunt, maybe you'll find something you like even better.
I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff will be coming down for quite a while!

Thank you all for your posts. Even for knowing only 2 days now, I have 4 interviews lined up for this week and 2 already for next week. Good news is that I will be able to have a small break from work for a week or so image
