I'm a definite maybe also, I'd like to get a feel for the acceptance before I send much in. I may try a couple of inexpensive pieces to see how they do. I am certainly biased towards DLRC, I've bought quite a few things from them and been very happy with the service.
I think it's an interesting question, given the current state of flux with ANACS and PCI. I have a few problem (cleaned or scratched) coins that are nice but don't qualify for PCGS holders. I really don't know which service I'd send them to- guess I'll wait to see what each company does over the next few months.

May I ask both of you...why? I don't know if I would ever submit to them but, then again, I rarely ever submit coins at all. They might provide a fantastic service of conservatively graded coins in great holders. Of course, I could be wrong, but we don't know yet...do we?

I no longer submit coins for grading---anywhere. Have you not been paying attention?
Well its basically the same price to grade and also its interesting cause if a coin grades high and the value is over the max, you have the 2% over max. Plus your not getting the same value from PCGS nor probably NGC for that matter. But will be interesting to see how it goes.

I'll probably send them all of my problem coins, but that's it. If I were DGS, I'd be concerned that most dealers will probably do the same. If that happens, DGS could get locked into its "problem coin" niche and locked out of the rest of the market. Not a great business model, IMHO. (Then again, I don't exactly have a great track record on identifying great business models.)

<< <i>who? I never heard of them - are they new? >>
DLRC bought out PCI and started a new grading service. They changed the name to Dominion Grading Service due to the stigma the PCI name now carries.

<< <i>What is their buyback guarantee? >>
I thought I read something about DLRC honoring all DGS grades. Is this correct?

I have to agree with Griv and the rest who said "NO".
I like DLRC and John F., but we certainly don't need another grading service!

To buy the coins at the normal price for a PCGS or NGC example.

Yes, but they will note the problem on the label.
