Vacuum seal them in plastic storage bags. Water and air tight.

Sell them now while you can still get a premium and convert them to .999 fine bars.

You'll be better off in the long run.

As silver goes higher, and it's got a long way to go yet, they will end up being treated like 1 oz. silver rounds.

You can already see them losing their premium and this is just the beginning.
"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."

It's a pain but it's really the only way to make sure that no additional air contaminants interact with the rinse the mint uses on these. Otherwise Milk Spots are a potential huge problem.

Main reason I have stopped collecting these and started selling anything I paid more than bullion pricing for.

Taco Bell napkins and hope for the monster toning. That seems to bring more premium than anthing else, even the increase in melt value.
BTW I really would not know, I only have one of them and it is in a slab.

I keep them in a Dansco album and watch the pretty colors (and not-so-pretty colors) develop

I would aksi say airtites in a dark, humidity controlled and temperature controlled environment are a good way to go...

I stored my proofs in original packaging in a non-temperature controlled exterior closet for many years and they remained pristine.

Remove them from all Mint packaging.
Wrap them in Taco Bell napkin, or the equivalent. Folds mimicking ewrapper endrolls are best.
Set them on a windowsill or in a damp place like a laundry room.

Same here there in the mint tubes and a Dansco album and I've never had an issue. Maybe it's some parts of the country having this problem just like cars and rust.

20th Anniv. sets sealed the day I received them, after a dip in Acetone.

No spotting as of yet. The Food Saver bags have maintained the seal.
