It looks like it could very well be BU, or maybe UU. Ugly uncirculated

Lots of marks, but that doesn't necessarily make it "circulated" Could be just a touch of rub on the very highest marks, then it's a high AU. It's just hard to be conclusive with a photo. Unless it's an S mintmark it doesn't really matter much, unless you pay too much

It was advertised as MS63, so I probably paid too much. The seller has a 10 day return policy so if I don't like it when I have it in hand I can return it.

Not a great pic...but it does not seem to show any rub from what I can see...Uncirculated is probably a better description than "BU"....although it does seem to have nice luster!

I'm with the BU crowd. Looks like maybe a low end 63, would feel better paying 62 money for it....again, just by that photo. I think you'll be alright when you get it in hand, not a high dollar coin in any case. Decent strike and luster, just a bit baggy in the prime focal area's.

I pulled my snipe on that coin about 2 hours before it closed....not convinced it's BU, the reverse looks AU...

Hope it works out...seller does have a return option though....best of luck.

MS61. But it is one of those dates that the TPGs err on the side of caution a lot more than on others and it might go AU58.
