Who are your favorite posters?

For me, whenever I see Saintguru or Tradedollarnut posted in a thread, i have to click the link for the thread and read the entire thing or at least up until their post. Firstmint is quickly joining their ranks and the more I read the more I like the humor and whit/knowledge of RWB.

So who's threads do you have to read. Who are your favorite posters on here?

neat thread......i find myself appreciating posts from the following:

broadstruck: passion for errors as well as knowledge

goldeneyenumismatics: a YN with a great eye for quality and thoughtful posts

lordmarcovan: i count Rob as a friend and a good guy to know for darkside attribution

charley (john curlis): terrific subtle humor/always civil/comes to the defense of posters who find themselves under attack (i've observed this on more than one occassion)

I must say first off, I don't respond to a lot of the posts I read. Sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut, read, and learn.

Two posters that always catch my attention.

Coxe for his knowledge of VAMs.

And 19Lyds I'd like to know a lot more about Ikes since there are some interesting varieties out there.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

Dawg's response is accurate. From this lurker's perspective, most of the good posters are long gone.

  • I have enjoyed many great posts here over the years. I could name at least two dozen members who have made great contributions to the forum with information, intelligence, insight, and scholoarly knowledge. Some of these members no longer post here, others are YN's who posted only briefly, or who have joined more recently. However, I'd be afraid of leaving out someone worthy if I made an actual list. Besides, I am probably biased towards those who generally agree with me LOL ... and even I can admit that that is not an objective standard.

Thanks to all who have enlightened me, taught me, or made me reconsider a stubbornly held opinion, and to those who have increased my enjoyment of the hobby by your participation here.

    Best,
    Sunnywood

This is my current "buddy list" (it comes up in no particular order):

    mgoodm3
    MrEureka
    fc
    roadrunner
    coinlieutenant
    Russ
    saintguru
    Barry
    Reece
    kranky
    TomB
    keets
    boiler78
    Longacre
    TahoeDale
    ColonialCoinUnion
    Dahlonega
    DaveG
    tradedollarnut
    Pistareen
    Lakesammman
    FatMan
    IGWT
    stman

All of the "buddies" deserve to be on my list of favorites. There are some others that I would add as favorite posters, and, frankly, with the exception of about a half dozen, I really like the regulars here a lot. They are much more interesting and fun than friends from work, from the neighborhood, from school, etc. image
