This may be old news but I see the mint is selling the 07-W eagle again.....This must suck for the buyers who rushed on to e-bay and bought them for 5 or 6 bucks over mint issue

Sounds like:

A) the mint got alot of cancellations or returns after the Annual Dollars Sets were put on Sale,

or

the mint did(or is going to do) another production run, which given how late in the year it is would surprise me.

Either way I don't think this is going to be a good coin for the flippers.

I think theres a screw-up somewhere................now it says..........The 2007 American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins will begin shipping approximately January 31, 2008.

I just bought 2 06W ASE For $65 each, off the bay!! NGC 69 ER Blue labels. The bull just started riding, on these coins again!!

I havn't had any problems, with the NGC slabbs yet, I do no they exist. I'll just return them, because i asked him, about that, before i bought them!!

but if they do spot you'll get a lot more than $65 on the return from NGC...in my opinion...great score!

Odd, Dollar Coin Sets sent out ahead of schedule, today being the first day thye were received by the public, at the same time the go on sale again at the mint. I don't believe this was an accident, if they had gone on sale again before the release of the sets there would have been mass cancelations, looks like another "Gotcha" by the mint!

That would be me!

Luckly, I only bought one. Guess I'll buy a few more from the mint to lower my dollar-cost average. IF these are from returns because of people being mad about the Dollar set, then no big deal but if they are still minting more then that would suck.

There are alot of folks like myself who have had orders in for the 2007 w ASE since the beginning of Nov. they keep getting pushed back,this morning they said that they would ship 12/31/07,
now they say 1/31/08..........?

No, but to (at the SAME TIME) offer them back on Sale and then push shipping back another month is freakn' wierd.

I wouldn't cancel them now.

Lets see how long it stays up. I thought maybe they went off temporarily only because of repricing since silver was a little volatile. Good marketing strategy to sell the Dollar Sets. Sneaky. I think they sold about 25 K or more of the sets according to NN last week.
