<< <i>Do all these things happen in Florida or are you just looking for the crimes which happen there? >>
Many of the scumbags who do these things in Fla come from somewhere else .

Surely there are scumbags who are born and raised in Fla. However I grow weary of ignoramuses who seem to come out and talk bad about Fla when shiite like this happens everywhere .

I respect your feelings of loyalty to your State.
I've only been in Washington for 10 years, so I still feel similarly about my homestate of Michigan...though with Detroit, pretty much everything that happens bad in Michigan comes from Michigan.
Unfortunately we have the negatives too........
I'm not very familiar with that part of Fla. My Brother lives on Merrit Island and I used to do business with a guy in Melbourne. Years ago I thought I remembered Palm Bay being a trouble spot but I could be wrong.

and California . I think the biggest reason is that so many retirees move there.
They bring their coins , and some years later pass on . Widows run into coin
shops to sell . If one looks at the annual Coin Dealer Guide , Florida has a
diproportionately large amount of coin shops in relation to other states .
Besides warm , there are more targets available there than in Maine .
With all due respect. I think Seattle Slammer handed you your hat. There are crimes committed in every state of the union. Crime also seems to have its phases. Towns or areas that were previously "high-crime" areas now are not and vice versa. Even within metropolitan areas crime locus ebbs and flows. You seemed a bit testy with the response.
