  This is a very rare grade, almost as elusive as the PO-01, but definitely rarer than PR70

  The MS60 grade became extinct with the move from technical grading to market grading. Here is the only MS60 coin I ever owned, however it now resides in a PCGS MS62 holder.

  i agree with fatman. Changing grading standards has really ruined the ms60 as a grade.

  Hence the reason for this thread. I think it's virtually extinct, too. It's hilarious when the hobby rags always give out MS60 prices for coins as if that's something that's even remotely easy to find. In my Advanced Grading Seminar last year, I think we might have seen only a couple coins that might ever find their way into a 60 holder.

  I don't have a reverse photo, but here's my MS60 1924 Peace dollar. Surfaces are fairly clean but toning is splotchy.

  Anyone notice that many of the 60's posted are in the early holders? I don't think the major services give out too many 60's any more. If they are MS they are usually given at least a 61.
