& then he claims: THE SPOTS ARE REALLY OF NO GREAT CONSEQUENCE WITH THE RARITY OF THIS COIN AND DECIDED TO LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE!

Seems pretty serious (and honest) to me: (regarding the spots) ' IF THEY BOTHER YOU, THAN DON'T BUY THE COIN BECAUSE ALL SALES OF GRADED COINS ARE FINAL WITH NO RETURNS" - Preussen

That's a rather optimistic price he has on that coin.

I agree. Personally I wouldn't pay the postage alone to get it. -Preussen

"some spots on the lower front"......

SOME? Man, the non-spotted area on the lower front takes up less of the coin than all the spots.
    No thank you!

You would have to have a great appreciation for coin rotation to pay that kind of a price.image

The greatest teaching tool of ebay is educating one self (and often being perplexed) regarding the perception of value that people place on things they buy and sell on this site. I have been facsinated by it for over 10 years now.image

I was wondering, what kind of value would PCGS assign this coin if it is returned for spot review.

Would the coin be worth the price tag if no spots were present?

Cool error. There must be someting to take off the spots, mild acid?
