...if you can locate the thread with your very first post, link it here. Mine had to do with one of the first commems I had ever acquired. I no longer have it, but I sure wish I did. Let's see (or hear about) your first post on the forum. Time to wind back the clock...
Here's the thread containing my first post.

I gave him a link to the 'finest known' 1851 seated dollar, then realized it was a restrike proof.
It has about as many replies as I usually ever get!
Notice the questions bout "How do you post pictures...............yada yada".
The name is LEE!
Learned a lot since then, with a lot more to come.

It was basically my Intro and I asked a few questions about bringing my son to his 1st show.
Like someone said above - got about the normal amout of responses for my threads - 3 not counting my own replies.
Russ must have been on vacation then, I didn't even get a "Fresh Meat"

Joe, hate for you to be left out. From what I can find in the search, your 1st post was in a monster thread: "Buyer beware when dealing w/ Superior Galleries!" and you mentioned your Trade Dollar experience.
Your first thread you started looks like: Satin Finish on Business Strikes?

I didn't get one when I joined, either. Although Kranky did welcome me to the forums. (I know him from another forum).

Here is my first post
My first thread...and I still have never seen a PCGS lable this color.
It was a lame attempt at humor as I sarcastically put that "I love the new GW's" in the title...
-WOW I just read my only post in that thread too, geez I was dork 4 months ago

if you had posted on the open forum. You'll just have to do
a new search.
If you posted before August, '02 you'll need to search the ar-
chived messages.
I think this one's mine;

olive leaves on the left side were golded colored and not the normal frosted white like every
modern proof set coin.
I (still) believe it to be unique since no one has reported another like it.
I offered a PCGS nicely toned 1964 Kennedy in MS67 on the Buy/Sell forum for $300.00.
The coin, being a Modern, was quickly scoffed at, no matter it was, I think, about a POP 5 coin at the time.
I sure wish I had that coin back now.
Made myself smile....seems so long ago.......I was so innocent then....
