Newbie introduction

Just wanted to tell everyone hello and nice to meet you. I've been lurking here for a few months now and finally got around to registering. Anyways, I'm a 26 year old living in Arizona that got my start in coin collecting mostly thru accumulating silver and gold bullion as well as inheriting a very small collection from my Grandmother (mostly junk silver).
Right now I am collecting just about anything that looks nice, but mostly Franklin Halves (the wife bought me a few NGC slabbed Franklins for a present......wish she had done a bit of research first, but its the thought that counts right?) and I plan on aquiring a good variety of stuff in the future. This board and its members have already been invaluable to me so I look forward to being a member and learning as much as possible from what appears to be a very knowledgeable group of collectors about my new hobby.

Not all here are collectors. You can learn from the occasional nusmismatist here and yes, even a dealer or two!
Most folks here are friendly and very very knowledgeable. But somtimes you'll run into a "troll" or other miscreant. Ignore them, for the greater contributing member population are worth enduring the occasional bad egg to read their commentary.
