Forum Member Julio and his Giclee's

Julio is a man of high honor and is a very artistic person to bootimage Julio purchased this 1944-D Jeff in PCGS MS67 FS from me:

He received the coin and was happy with it. He paid via Mo that I received in three day's time. We were both happy and I thought this was the end of the story. Come to find out, it wasn't. This Giclee just arrived at my door:

The color of the coin on canvas is exactly as shown above. I used different lighting on my picture of the Giclee.

Julio put the coin on a 15" X 12" Canvas and it's on my wall of fame from this point forwardimage

As far as what a Giclee is, I hope Julio chimes in to explain it.

I concur - last summer when he introduced most of us to giclees with his giveaway and other pictures, I thought it was really neat, and was going to order some for Christmas presents. As with most things, I got side tracked and forgot about it. Looks like this one is as nice as the others he shared with us.

Giclees are essentially ultra-high quality ink jet prints typically using archival paints on canvas. Museums use giclees to make reproductions of some of their artwork and many artists have switched to selling giclee reproductions from lithographs.

I have no idea what a Giclee is, it sounds like something from The Man Show. image

nice job....I bought my wife a giclee by Susan Rios and it's beautiful. I'd love one of a coin. I like the built up look.
