<< <i>I would agree with Russ. It's a nice coin, but I doubt PCGS will agree with the grade.

Perhaps...it's in an older holder (only 6 digits) & I've been told that the grading was more conservative in the "good ole days."

That's a brand new holder.

<< <i>I was under the impression that NGC is up to 7 digits & should be 8 very shortly.... ok my mistake, Russ. >>
There are different digit scenarios for different types of submissions. My hunch is that the shorter ones are show grading.

What about if you send in a coin to be reholdered, I'm pretty sure the cert.# would stay the same, no?
Lincoln set Colorless Set
No MS67 at PCGS.

Regardless, it is a REAL nice looking Morgan, but for the chance that PCGS turns that into a 66, there is ALOT of money left on the graders table. Keep it as is, unless you are really feeling lucky, and dont mind looking at the price guide just to the left of 67. I know, buy the coin, not the slab, but there ARE those playing the registry set game, and.......well, we all know how that works. Is it something you would flip SHOULD it 7 at PCGS, or is it something you want to keep REGARDLESS of whether it 6's or 7's? I doubt it will cross and looks like a solid 6. Keep it where it is and appreciate the fact its a gorgeous example.
