  The 1878 7TF Reverse of 1879 Morgan Dollar Proof. MANY times(at the least 10X)more rare than the 1895 Proof. Destined to be recognized soon as a classic rarity, and I believe will be the first Morgan Dollar to reach the million dollar threshold at auction or by private treaty.

  I think I would like to have ... the perfect album-toned war nickel, maybe a 44-S in MS67FS with blistering luster and concentric rings of peach and lavender and blue, with tighter bands of orange, gold, and deep green hard up against the rims. I can look at such coins for hours.

  How can "1 item" be considered a "collection"? But, if I could have one coin, it would be either Judd 1776 Indian double eagle pattern or the unique 1849 double eagle.

  For some reason the Columbia & Washington medal is what immediately came to mind. Probably this one. Frankly, I'm not disappointed with what came to mind, even though it's not from any of the three series I do collect.

  The gem AMERI. chain cent. I know there is a PCGS 67 AMERICA one, but that variety is much more common in general. The coin anyway has a lot going for it. It is a condition rarity. The historical draw is undeniable. Nice big copper too. If I ever decided to cash in all of my chips and start over with a box of twenty type coins, this would be the sort of coin I would avidly seek out.
