If anybody is looking for a mid-grade cameo Accented Hair and wants a strong example.

This coin is it.
There are a lot of these in cameo holders that just barely made the designation. Not the case with that one. A little less frost fade on the bust and that one would be DCAM. It's a genuine winner for the grade. And, BTW, I would post this thread regardless of who the seller was, so you can save the BS about spam.

Gorgeous piece. I don't even like Kennedys and I like it.

I don't collect proofs but, that's a nice frosty looking coin.
What does this normally bring in this grade?

$110-$120.00 but that one will probably draw a lot more.

does every accented hair Kennedy have the left foot of the "I" in LIBERTY missing ?
and
are there any known examples of a NON accented hair Kennedys with the missing left foot on the I ?
make sense ?

<< <i>does every accented hair Kennedy have the left foot of the "I" in LIBERTY missing ? >>
It's not actually missing, it's truncated. There is a small bit of a serif there.
<< <i>are there any known examples of a NON accented hair Kennedys with the missing left foot on the I ? >>
Yes, the truncated serif can appear on the regular coin if the die has become abraded in that area or if a strike-thru happens to land right in that spot.

without even looking at the hair.... just by examining the "I".... correcto mundo ?

Most of the time, yes. But occasionally you'll run in to a regular coin with a truncated serif for one of the reasons I mentioned above.

Easy, one person links your auctions, another person links to the poster's auctions. If the circle is two people it looks real bad, if it is four or five, it is a SPAM club, but each person can deny any wrong doing.
Again, once in a great while is okay by me (like once a month or less), but folks that consistently link to one person's auctions may be earning brownie points for sweetheart deals later.

None of which has ever happened. In fact, this is the first time I've ever linked one of Marty's auctions, and to my recollection he has NEVER linked one of mine. And, he did not ask for this link and in fact knew nothing about it. If he had asked, (or anyone else for that matter), I would refuse.
I can only assume that all the hypocrites who are screaming spam will never again link to a coin on a dealer's site because it appears to be a primo example and they might think forum membership would be interested. Right, Fletcher?

That is a nice one by the way Marty.

no, you're just the pivot man.........
I don't know much about Kennedys, but see you guys mention these acc. hair 64's from time to time. Can you give me a brief synopsis of the story behind these. How do you identify them and when were they discovered etc. Also, what percentage of 64 proof sets have this coin in them?
Thanks,
JJ

Don't need to tell you anything. But we do need to ask you this. Since you have a link to your eBay auctions in your sigline, doesn't your logic here infer that you may be a shill to your own eBay auctions?

Where are you from??? Most auctions that I see linked around here are for current auctions. Only a few cry babies are complaining about it.

What's this "we" crap? You seem to be the one needing to ask me about my eBay link. And I don't have any active auctions at this time. Got any more dumb questions?
<< <i>Where are you from??? Most auctions that I see linked around here are for current auctions. Only a few cry babies are complaining about it.
Where'm I from? ...probably the same country you are. And most auction links I look at around here outside of the BST thread are for completed auctions. But I won't argue with you. I'm sure you look at a lot more of them than I do and I can tell you're an expert on cry babies too.
