    Last one for the evening. An 1804 spiked chin half cent. The spike looks like that was a screw between the dies when they came together. This obverse die comes with four different reverses. This on one is Cohen - 5. It is the second rarest spiked chin variety, and it may have been the die that was in service when the obverse die was injured. The reverse is almost always seen totaly cracked from rim to rim.
