<< <i>Uh, you fish much? The one in your hand is upside-down. . . >>
Uhh.. yeah I knew that.
I was just mocking him for being so low on the food chain as well as covering up the big grommet and key loop poking through his back. (It was a magnetic fishing game for kids).
Yes, I've fished for real plenty. I've caught some amazing perch, bluegills, and minnows in my time a few large bass too. I'm actually more of a crabber.

Anyway, this is me on the left and General Peter Pace, USMC, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Joint Chief of Staff Luncheon sponsored by the Coast Guard on Inauguration Day last year. I personally escorted the General up to our Commandant. While in the elevator, I had the honor and privilge to inform the General that he was out of uniform. Anyone care to guess?
He was missing a star on his National Defense Service Medal. He should have two. Original award for the Vietnam era, the first star for the Gulf War and the second Star for the Iraqi Freedom war. I'm sure his aide was chewed out royally for not ensuring his uniform was perfect. I know thta Marines take great pride in their uniforms being perfect. The general was very cool about this as I had done it very discreetly.

Even in a photograph, the General has that sort of "I swing a very large stick indeed" look to him. The air around that man must be palpable. >>
General Pace has a definite air of confidence and "I am the Top Dog" about him yet was joking and very personable. Come on, a little old Coast Guard Lieutenant had the cahoneys to tell him he was out of uniform. However, I would not want to trifle with the man. You would find yourself on the backend of a big can of whoopa$$.
