Edited to add: I'd be tempted to look into that and see if it isn't some type of after hours proof or whatnot as that strike is certainly one of a kind.
Anyone?
Or, am I seeing more than there is here?

<< Studying your coin- it looks super deep dish (not just the typical) and the rim is almost squared off (at least part of it, per the photo). I'm not blowing smoke. This isn't my series so allow greater minds to prevail, but my gut would have me looking at any and all posibilities... Breen? Other works? Anyone? Or, am I seeing more than there is here? I thought so too Pat, then looking at the hair and seeing the waves of hair look like they were painted by Van Gogh makes me wonder if there is either a special strike or possibly post mint enhancement going on.
<< Supposedly the VAM-1-H satin proof dies were used for later busness strikes as were the VAM -1-F correlated to the matte proofs.
So whats your opinion on the coin? just a nice struck UNC?
<<
VAM 3 nice... sweet grade as well
<< Bruce's is a great example, but with the lustre and rims it possesses, I don't think it's anything more than a very well struck piece. I still want it
Thanks for the nice comments and you will never guess where this one turned up at...
<< USAROK that's a very nice strike. Bruce knows I like his coin. The strike issue with these 1921's...amazing... >>
Yes his coin has a great strike as well
<< Here's a toned one I owned until about a year ago. When I put it up on this site for comments it got mixed reviews. I was about ready to put it in my collection when someone bought it at the last show that I had planned to offer it for sale. It was in a PCGS MS-64 holder.
Nice coin bill I like the gold toning alot...
