edited to replace inner circle with circle of trust. an inner circle would not necessarily be a trustworthy one.

I noticed you aren't confused about the arrogant part

<< <i>The "inner circle" as it were is a non-published list of those board members who in their dealings with other members over time have EARNED a reputation for honesty and integrity that is second to none. They are 100% trustworthy and their word is their bond. If they say a coin or payment is "in the mail" it is IN THE MAIL. They are however not necessarily experts at grading coins. >>
ALL RIGHTY THEN! a REAL answear!!!
Thank you
i suspect there is an outer circle of the inner circle !
i imagine myself as a member of the outer inner circle as i have sent them more than 2 bucks worth of coins
without payment but they have not sent me squat without my CC number,a postal MO and a personal check
that they waited to clear !
Clear that up for ya ?

Now now Lucy.....I was certainly NOT referring to you, and there's no need to refer to me as a slimy lizard
I will also add that most of the sharpest and smartest individuals IMO have either left or very seldomly post here anymore, but when they do it's worthwhile reading.

But i don't know about pompous...holier than thou ... just not my style.
I'll make up for thou by being a bigger ass-hole.

"Arrogant" describes two of them, but “nitwit” only applies to one, so I think I’ve figured it out.

That was a joke.....the truth is that there is no such beast. What there are are connections and knowledge about where stuff is. Some people have more of that than others, but it is all relative........
I guess we are all very fortunate that you have decided to stick around....

<< <i>I think you have the main players that every one knows and loves then you have other people like me who have a circle of trust with 5-10 board members. Its nice to e-mail some one you deal with and have them send you a coin to look at or send them a coin and not have to worry if you are going to get paid or get the coin back. Its a very rare thing in this day and time to trust some one who you have never meet in person. I feel very honerd to be a small part of it
Totally agree.
I posted the item of Trust, it was I that should be labeled as a nitwit- Thanks Russ.
It should stand corrected it is the Circle of Trust, certain BM's that have confidence that the transaction you partake in will be completed in a fashion acceptable to both parties- no lying, no thievery, etc.
Circle of Trust - never leave home without it.
know who they are.
