A Very Special Coin to Me with Lots of Character... Found at Recess Years Ago, Jeff with a Cud

This is one of the most valuable coins in my collection. Sure, it's worth only a few dollars, but I found it in either third or fourth grade (can't remember) at recess. it was embedded in the dirt with just the face visable (all the rims were in the ground). It was just beneath one of the two blue benches just before the small hill that led to the fields. I saw the coin, brushed off the dirt, and immediately saw the cud. As was the only way to store it (I had no pockets), I put the coin in my sock, and took it out when I got home (it's not a biohazard any more, I promise).
Anyway, I only just photographed it for this first time. But when I pulled it out on the weekend, I noticed a massive reverse clash for the first time. You can see the portrait of Jefferson on both sides of the dome, although they are much stronger in person due to lighting angles. After owning the coin for about a decade, I only just noticed that, as I always paid attention to the cud.
Needless to say, it's a very, very special coin to me. I hope you like it

Actually, it's a 1982... but I was born in 1987... guess I found this around 1996/97.

I was just starting my collecting... I had a few pieces, but very, very little. Back then, I could barely afford anything on an allowance of a few dollars a month. Something makes me think it was still $1 or $2 per week.

Not a great pic, but I'm working on it.
I don't think cuds are really that common... my understanding is that they start as a die crack near the rim of the coin, and then the chunk of the die between the crack and rim breaks off completely... thus a large, unstruck mound of metal.
