I'd like to say that in my opinion November 19'th is absolutely the finest day to have a birthday Tell me about the 50'th Kranky so I can be prepared for it next year.
Thanks you guys and Russ! (Yes, it's true, goose.)
Well, so far today my wife has cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floors, swept the carpets, and now she's outside with the leaf blower. I, on the other hand, have played a little Battlefield 1942 on the PC, got Quicken caught up from the last month, and ate a nice omelette. Overall, not bad so far! We'll probably go out for a steak or some ribs tonight. At my advanced age, that's about all the excitement I can safely handle, right?
And a Happy Birthday to you, Carl! Enjoy!
To keep the thread coin-related, today is also the birthday of William Sheldon, creator of the 70-point grading scale, which shall never be changed.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Thanks Kranky! It sounds like you are having and will continue to have a great day.
I appreciate learning that Sheldon was also born this day. I had fun so far, I got to see some nice coins at the Santa Clara show. My favorite was a 1915 Proof Buffalo nickel at Angel Dees table.
