Cleaned???
I would like to know if this double eagle has been cleaned. I see hairlines on it and I wanted an opinion to know if this coin is gradeable or not? Thanks!

It will be delisted when I get everybody's opinion.
<< <i>Why did you create an ebay auction to ask this question? >>
Odd, eh?
After further review, the luster doesn't look right to my eyes. From the pic it looks like you had one light source below the coin and this should show some cartwheel luster. Someone'll be along shortly with a more definitive answer...Mike

I find it very unethical for you to cancel my bid without proper warning in the auction in the first place.

I don't see where he mentions Registered mail?
Perhaps you're not hitting the bowl enough?
On the other hand.......have any of you seen the REVERSE of this coin??? I didn't see it posted on the "auction"..........for all of you who are so insistent on trying to take advantage of what may be an honest moment of stupidity, I hope the reverse is REALLY trashed!!!! Then again, maybe that was the poster's intent in the beginning!!!

<< <i>I found a pawn shop that sold coins to ask for an opinion. He said definately gradeable >>
Excellent move. Whenever I need expert advice on gold I also head to the nearest pawn shop.
