I don't know that series to be able to offer a worthwhile opinion, but that is one of those coins that I would want in a slab if I was thinking of purchasing......
My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable !
No, I am not familiar with seller....and yes, I know better about buying unslabbed coins on Ebay (and maybeeven slabbed ones too!), but this caught my eye.....just not sure about it though....
Nothing screams "fake" to me, but I still maintain a healthy skepticism toward this coin. It might even be real, but it might also be a high-quality transfer die counterfeit. But there ain't no way I'm touching a raw bust dollar on eBay.
If it's a fake, it's a pretty convincing one, at least when looking just at an image.
Looking at my Breen Encyclopedia, the reverse looks like a dead-ringer for the plate coin for Breen 5380 but I can't seem to identify a match for the obverse. (Maybe someone with a Bolender or Bowers-Borckardt reference would fare better.)
If I read it right, it looks to be a 13 star, Small Eagle and according to the PCGS price guide it would be worth about $950.00 to over $22,000. But what do I know, I am new at this.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.

It's a heraldic/large eagle, not a small one.
Morgannut....do you mean ANR??
If it's bogus, it would've fooled me.
I like the color.
just floating a theory...
