Isn't this thread a bit on the mean-spirited side?

Yeah, but think of it this way. Isn't it better that he ask a forum a question like that rather than saying, "Hey, I neg'ed this seller, whaddya guys think?". I understand the spirit of his question and I understand the responses he's getting. I just think it's a bit heavy-handed to ban the guy as a buyer if he does NOT end up neg'ing the seller and learns the eBay coin buying angle from the perspective these forum members are presenting.

HAHAHAHA I just saw this thread a minute ago, He is having buyers remorse, he clearly stated that he knew of the "No Return" policy, but wants to return the coin anyway.................image

This thread and the spirt of the thread SUCKS !! Have any of you jokers that have blocked him ever talked to him or met him ? It must be real nice to judge someone because they asked a question about FleaBay.

Exactly! He shouldn't have negged the seller but was looking for advice and got ripped on in the process.
  • I'm very confused by this thread. How do we know he wants to neg the seller for delivering the coin pictured? Further, is that the entire stated reason -- come on, it has to be something more than that.

I'm very confused also. Just looking at the link and the feedback of both buyer and seller I can't see where anybody neg'd anybody for anything?
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?

He did not say he wanted to neg the seller. He asked if he should.

Thank you Russ, and at the risk of explaining myself to a public group that probably doesn't really care....

The original question "Should I neg this seller, opinions needed." was answered by almost everyone who responded, with a resounding "NO" of course not. I share that opinion and see no reason to neg that seller. That point of view comes from me as both an ebay buyer and seller (pcrdnadave). The seller did not do anything IMO to deserve a neg so the question and reason for a negative feedback are both silly. So instead of giving the herd mentality response to the OP's question, I posted an equally silly and somewhat of a spoof question..."should I add this buyer to my blocked list?" The answer to MY question is the same answer as the one for the OP's question about neg'ing the seller.. The answer is no, and no I did not add anyone to my blocked list. He does have a 100% feedback rating and has not yet left any unnessary negative feedbacks. My posting style is to have fun in the Open Forum, but to be serious in the coin forum, with the exception that I enjoy poking a stick or two at Legend. So I am not trying to be a clown or really stir the pot, just trying in as few words as possible to generate a response that my cause the reader to think a little further. Sometimes the written text is not read by the audience in the same spirit it was written in and had I spelled all of this out to begin with I seriously doubt it would have been read at all. Don't you.

    Edited for grammer. image

Ah, a spoof thread. Normally I would have picked up on that. My biorhythms must be at a low ebb.
