I'm not going to call it garbage, but it looks very cleaned- and since there is so many 22 peace dollars, you can afford to be picky and find a truly nice speciman for a reasonable price....
My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable !
What's the dead give away, given those pictures, that the coin has been polished/heavily cleaned? Unfortunately, I still find myself learning the hard way with this stuff.
There's a huge supply of these common date AU coins so it doesn't have any collector demand. But, it's still a nice big old American silver coin that is fun to own and look at.
I had no idea what I have...... I'll take some pics and display them in a different thread.
as I recall, the 22 I dropped in the oil and cleaned up (and displayed above) was the worst looking of the lot.... the 21's were all fairly nice looking
Now hopefully they aren't 1921 Morgans and hopefully they are not cleaned. The 1921 Peace is sought after and original pieces get a premium. The 22's are very common and you can find nice MS examples at reasonable prices. Peace dollars are hard to come by that aren't cleaned. The scarce dates are 1921, 1927 D, 1928 P, and 34 s in higher grade. I gave up the series due to the lack of finding good examples.

It's just some treasure is more of a treasure than other treasure.

If it was a higher grade you might have, but based upon the condition you described no. It is worth silver melt and thats about it.
