My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
I must admit to not being a "toning" fan. However the strike on the 1913 is great.I too wonder if it is the Matte Proof under that toning ? As far as "How did I do",you did very well even if it isn't a Matte Proof.IMHO

The tie on the braid is probably not well struck enough for a proof....I could be wrong though. I also find the color a bit odd for the date but it seems like a nice coin overall.
Thanks everyone for your replies. I bought these at small monthly show in Scottsdale Ariz. today. The Buffalo has nicer color than the pic but the luster is weak even for a type one. It was marked MS63 and I paid $45 for it. I was surprised at how well the Morgan looks in the picI guess the bright light brought out the color. It was marked BU and I paid $14 for it and the Kennedy has a couple of hairlines but for $4 you cant go wrong.
