My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. The tie on the braid is probably not well struck enough for a proof....I could be wrong though. I also find the color a bit odd for the date but it seems like a nice coin overall.

but the luster is weak even for a type one. It was marked MS63 and I paid $45 for it. I was surprised at how well the Morgan looks in the
pic
but for $4 you cant go wrong.
