Here is yet another excellent example of why it is often nearly impossible to grade accurately from images.
There is no way for us to tell, among other things, (without being able to tilt and rotate this coin under good lighting) how severe the abrasions are behind Liberty's head, in front of her face and under the eagle's wings.
If the imperfections are extremely minor/barely discernible without magnification, the coin might be a 65 (with a slight possibility of a higher grade). However, if they are readily apparent to the naked eye, the coin could grade as low as MS62 or thereabouts. I don't think this piece has wear/rub on the high points, so it appears to be mint state, but even that is often difficult to tell from images.
Edited to add: If I had to guess, I'd say this one is an MS63.
After my first look I guessed 63. This is because it doesn't look as nice as my 64. The when I read CoinGuy1's reply I felt pretty good about my guess.
hi everyone Keeping guessing, and than tonight I will tell you what pcgs grade it at. I just send it back, today to be regarded at pcgs. really only a few marks show without magnification. It is blow up a lot. littlejohn
From the pic here in this post, I'd guess a high-end MS-64 to low-end MS-65. Then I cheated and looked it up at David Lawrence and if I was looking at the right coin (ID#102537)...that picture and the picture here in this post look very different. Judging by that picture, I'd have guessed it was a high-end MS-62 to low-end MS-63. Just my opinion.

Just from the photos and my experience with certified gold at PCGS, this appears to be a 64. The strike looks pretty good, as does the luster. I don't see any real wear, just a dark spot and a few hits. The hits may be magnified due to the size of the pictures, but on a $10 gold, I'd bet that they are still discernable in hand. It is a nice looking coin.
corrosion has been removed from this coin, mostly stars 6-8, but particularly at star 7. whoever did it did a crappy job too, damaging the denticles above s7. really, it should get a body-bag.
hi i hope your right sliderider,it will be back in about 2 week.was allready in a pcgs slab.i will show everone tonight what grade it is now..!! littlejohn

too many and ill-placed marks for a higher one.
