I only snipe with 1 minute left these day...I've had sniping programs not be able to get my bid in on time when I used to try 10 seconds, and in many cases would've won if it had worked. If I can't win it with 1 minute left, I just don't worry about it.
I like these sets very much, Susan. Looks good, but the proof will be when it's in hand. If it is as advertised, I don't think you paid too much. Give us a follow up when you receive it, okay?
