The Beverly Hills Coin Club's effort to create a grading service is ACCGS not SGS.
And yes they are a real grading service. They accept outside submissions, grade the coins, seal them in a holder so as to ensure that the coin received is the actual coin graded, and they even issue a COA along with the slab. So they qualify as a grading service. Whether or not you want to trust their grading is another matter entirely. Look at the coins and see if you agree with the assigned grade. If not then just decline. As I said earlier I have the lowest graded SGS slab I've ever seen, a 68.
I was TTT it so he can read how bad of a service they are and don't get burned on that one he was thinking of bidding on.....Just trying to help him out.
