Whats the highest multiple of face value you've paid??

For an individual coin. Kinda gets you thinking. Mine is 12 thousand. 60 bucks for a half cent. By far not the most expensive I've but, but markup wise, seems almost ridiculous when you think of multiples of what it was supposed to be "worth"

Morgans are probably a bargain by comparison, (this is equivalent to buying car, by how many pounds you get per dollar).

560,000 for a 1793 half cent. The coin is in a VF-35 holder now so I guess the new multiple would be at least 1 million.

Andy looks good, but DHRC recently paid 12.5 million times face for a Lincon cent!

I think the record will go to Jay Parino who once paid over 100 million timeds face for a Chain cent. Makes the 1933 $20 Saint look like a bargain at only 350,000 times face value.
