cue the 'High Noon' music....

OK, Hall - you and me - the rumble at FUN. My $1,000 against your $5,000. 40 coins. Smoke. Sweat. Nervous tics.

Be there, aloha!

PS.... after I dust ya, the money goes to charity.

Fantastic! Please make it for Wednesday night or Thursday. If TDN wins, his favorite charity gets $100 from me in his honor. If HRH wins, his favorite charity gets $100 from me in his honor.

(So long as the charity is reasonably politically correct image)

    THE CONTEST

The Judge: (holding up coin) Gentlemen! What does this coin grade?

Homerunhall: (scrunching up his face) Ummm... I dunno.
    Tradedollarnut: (blank stare) ...me neither.

    Judge: What denomination is it?

Homerunhall: (scrunching up face) Ummm... I dunno.
    Tradedollarnut: (blank stare) ...me neither.

Judge: (frustrated) Is it gold or silver?

Homerunhall: (scrunching up face) Ummm... I dunno.
    Tradedollarnut: (blank stare) ...me neither.

Judge: (defeated) Do either of you know where you are?

Homerunhall: (scrunching up face) Ummm... I dunno.
    Tradedollarnut: (blank stare) ...me neither.

TDN and others - I'm sure it only APPEARS that Mr. Hall is (already) stalling.image

The rumors that I bribed Coinguy to pick 40 trade dollars in a row are false, I tell ya, FALSE! image

Not at FUN? Harumph - obviously not from North of the Mason Dixon line! image

    Woohoo! Showdown!

Is coinguy1 going to be in charge of selecting the coins? You can't use the same 40 coins that the regular grading challenge will be using.

No, because David has handpicked those coins - I would assume he's seen the grades!

Hats? Hats? We don't need no stinkin' hats! image

How about having 40 dealers submit a coin for this gun slinging bonanza while at the show. I'm sure Legend and a few others coild pick out some interesting coins from their stock, be it raw, PCGS, NGC, ANACS etc......

I disagree. They should be all PCGS coins. That doesn't necessarily make it easy!

How about some incuse gold in lower grades of Unc? Include a few low end Unc. / slider SLQs and
Capped Bust Halves. For good measure, don't forget a few Buffalo nickels minted in San Francisco
from the early to mid 1920s in the MS 20 - MS 50 range. Add some PF Liberty Nickels with ugly toning.

And of course, we must not forget copper. Include a few Large & Half Cents that are Unc. with
between 15-30% original mint red. Don't forget a few others that are Uncs., but with a spot or two.
Just to make it 'interesting,' include several 3 cent silver pieces.

Of course, you're not going to use a loop to grade these coins, are you?
