Ebay Coin Sellers, Who Is The Best

Georgems65 · December 3, 2003 9:22PM

I was just wondering who is the best ebay seller on ebay.(Only people that sell coins)

Senlathiel · December 3, 2003 11:06PM

My .02, its Russ (Compucheap). He's usually out of my price range, but I always look at his auctions because he gives an honest representation of the coin, and points out the damages, knicks, scratches, etc. I think he also goes the extra mile on educating the Ebayer buyer public.

(pssst, Russ, you can mail my check to...)

CHESSNUTDOG · December 4, 2003 12:15AM

I agree Russ is the best...very very accurate pictures and very very conservative in his grading. Mike

RYK · December 4, 2003 12:32AM

I am not.

If you are looking for certified, mostly generic, gold, check out duvallgold. I have bought and sold with him (Duane) on several occasions.

I'll second duvallgold...got my Saint from them
Depends what you're looking for...I'll throw out a few names of folks I've had great experiences with...
jbsteven1
bigdcoins
duvallgold
hnai.com (the ebay side of Heritage)
rarcoa
cybrwriter (although I think he may be done selling coins, haven't seen any in a while)
I can't seem to win a compucheap (Russ) auction, but he looks to be a good ebayer...if you can get past all the slab caddies

JMOORE · December 4, 2003 12:51AM

Don't forget kieferscoins (Cameron)

Link

I've had several transactions with him. Every one excellent.

has anyone heared of spfh2004 he got good stuff

Colorfulcoins · December 5, 2003 4:59AM

What constitutes the "best" seller? Best...items, most accurate descriptions, accurate pictures, responsive communication, ebay feedback, BIN prices, etc.......

Georgems65 · December 5, 2003 5:00AM

just who you think is the best seller to you

Rampage · December 5, 2003 6:08AM

Supercoin is a good eBay seller. Bought many things from him off eBay and the website.

relayer · December 5, 2003 6:21AM

It depends on what you mean by best.

If it means the buyer getting coins real cheap, then it has to be me.

ksteelheader · December 5, 2003 6:34AM

My vote is for Russ. I've got two coins from him now and have had no problems. Just the opposite. Submitted the one and it graded higher that he thought it would! Can't go wrong there....Ken

BigE · December 5, 2003 6:38AM

I vote for relayer, I always get outbid on his auctions so I have saved a lot of money----------BigE

Hoot · December 5, 2003 6:43AM

BigD5 is an excellent eBayesian, as well as Carl Wolforth and Greg Margulis. There are any number of others who will treat you very fairly and provide accurate descriptions of their coins at fair prices. Legend sell on eBay, come to think of it....... the list goes on and on.

paigowjohnny · December 5, 2003 6:53AM

I've dealt with BigD5 off the BST bosrd and agree he's top notch.

rainbowroosie · December 5, 2003 9:40AM

Tonecoin 2003 -- with him, you "ALWAYS" know what you are getting!!!!!!!

Dave99B · December 5, 2003 9:54AM

ARCO (Tyler) and Fairlaneman (Ken), when they finally decide to cough up a few nice Barbs & Mercs (which aint often enough)

Dave

RGL · December 5, 2003 9:57AM

Agreed, Russ is very conservative with his description and estimated grades ... and there is another seller, I love, who does the same ... but, you are not dragging his name out of me short of copious bribes ...

RonMan · December 5, 2003 10:15AM

TheNumish (Jay) should be up there near the top of the list too.

Louis · December 5, 2003 10:20AM

I've had good experiences with BigD5 and jbsteven1 and would reccomend them both.

Georgems65 · December 6, 2003 4:52AM
