Please excuse my photographic skills, I really have a hard time matching the color----more practice would probably help. When I saw the coin it immediately caught me because the entire series is usually found white and lacking luster, at least good luster. This example has strong luster throughout and nice appealing color.
The entire coin is mostly a wash of pink intermingled with gold and blue. The darker areas at the rim are russet changing to gold and then to gun-metal blue to the eventual pink. There are a few scattered contacts on each side, nothing readily apparent without a glass and the strike is quite good.
I'll take it with me on the road while I search for the D and S!!

I'm certain it looks even better in person. It has a "nice, soft, gemmy look" that I love.
