    looks like artificial wear has taken this one down to Fair-2 obverse, Poor-1 reverse. Nets Poor-1, simply because that's what the submitter wants in a case like, this, and I think the grading service (PCI red) came through.

    break it out, take the rotary sander to it a little more, let it spend a few more days in a rock tumbler, etc.

    I'm sure you could get it down to a 1 with a little effort.

    I've wondered that too. For example, what if you had a PO01 Chain Cent (super worn out) and it had a hole in it? Would it be "PO01 details, Net PO01"? image

    Too bad too -- it looks like a Peg-Leg Variety - which from what I understand is extremely rare for that date and mint-mark.

    I agree with the consensus that it is FR-02 obverse and a PO-01 reverse net PO-01. PCI clearly overgraded it. Break it out and send it to PCGS.
