Definitley the NFL - with France it wasn't IF it was WHEN.

last week McVay fired the kicker

i wonder if he's going to fire himself after what happened today

Today’s kicker, who weighs in at around 40 pounds soaking wet, decided to throw his chicken bones at a freight train and probably won’t be around much longer to discuss it.

I wont blame him for trying to make a play. Free agent kicker that was actually worse than thicker kicker which is why no one had signed him. Its the lets put the blame on everyone else. Losing to the Cards is just sad when youre supposed to and should be a real threat

'Tis the season of human sacrifice. In many shapes and forms.

Andy Dalton turns down an Eagles offer.
How bad a team does Philly have if the washed up Red Rifle turns them down? :D

Buffalo better learn how to play D, their type of play is not sustainable

He lost to an all-time great.

The Chiefs were lucky they were playing the Chargers yesterday because they wouldn’t have beat a good team. The offense should have scored at least 11 more points, a missed field goal and extra point and Mahomes put on his dunce cap and threw a pick in the end zone.
The defense was fine, but it was the Chargers so not saying much but the defense kept it from being a close game.

The Colts fired their GM and there’s a lot of talk about the Chargers needing to fire OC McDaniel. I say fire Harbaugh he’s in charge of that mess.

I guarantee the Chiefs team were not worried about this chargers team one bit, not saying they didn't try but it's human nature to subconsciously not prepare when you think you got an easy thing coming up

Seattle letting go of Walker might be the dumbest move while KC grabbing him might have been the smartest move lol

Walker has been amazing! And if I’m correct I don’t think he’s fumbled this year, the dude holds on to the ball unlike Skatebo who didn’t get a carry yesterday because of his huge fumble the previous game.

McDaniel was a disaster in Miami. Why did they hire him in the first place? Must be a Harbaugh buddy. Not for long.

I looked it up. Kenneth Walker in his career has 927 rushing attempts and 3 fumbles and 0 so far this year. That’s impressive the way the defense always tries to knock the ball out. 🥳

I just hope for the Chiefs sake that the Walrus doesn't run him into the ground before playoff time, I'd say Walker is better than Gibbs and that is saying a LOT

Stevek is the new starting QB for the Eagles. They’re already reporting on the NFL network that he’s telling the OC that his playbook is all wrong and that he will work on it the next couple of days and get some better plays in it. He’s also been telling the players that if they would improve their diets they wouldn’t have so many injuries.

All I can say is get well Jalen Hurts. I know what he's going through right now, but not personally. 10 years ago my daughter was diagnosed with the same condition. Our doctor did an exam which revealed complications that caused him to urge us to take her to the hospital immediately. She was in ICU for 5 days, 2 surgeries and a long recovery. Same issues, blood clots in her legs which had moved into the abdominal region and her lungs. She had 2 consecutive days of procedures involving the removal of clotting from her arteries. On day 3 of planned surgery, they were going to work on moving the clot out of her lungs by inserting a catheter into her shoulder area and down. They were about to do it when they discovered that the clot had moved and mostly dissolved. When the surgeon came out of the OR to tell us what had happened, he was overjoyed. She was gonna get better, although a few more days of hospitalization. It took her a few months of recovery to regain her physical strength. We are thankful, particularly to Children's Hospital Of L.A. for how they saved her life. I know Jalen Hurts is very well conditioned and he will recover. To put perspective on it, though, football means nothing compared to people trying to save your life. I wish him a great recovery.

by the 3rd quarter yesterday I was waiting by the phone waiting for the call from Vrabel to see if he needed me to head down and get on that offensive line. after moses and brown went down, they had no more O-linemen left on the bench. just the 5 on the field. i dont remember ever seeing a team in that situation before.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

That explains why he ditched on the pick em contest, apparently it's a conflict of interest

Doing very well, thank you for asking. 10 years forward, she is a college grad with a Masters degree and currently living at home with us. As a perfect example of the difficulties faced by the current generation of young adults, she has been working, but still chasing that elusive position which fits her desired career goals. Rent ain't cheap and we're glad to have her around for now. She's a good kid. ;) And, her health is intact, doing great.

Sorry I skipped over your post

Best wishes and positive thoughts to your family

I just saw a news article this morning that posed the question: Is a College education worth it today? Well, of course it is, but a lot of students have difficulty finding employment in their field.

1st place AFC North - Browns

Last place NFC West - Rams

i wonder what i would have been forced to do had i bet someone that those two scenarios would not be the case after 6 weeks

on second thought, i think i'll refrain from wondering that. suffice to say it would not have been good

I'm so glad I didn't rip the $1000 on the Rams to win the NFC, I came so close but I remembered last year I was going to ship $1500 on Detroit and Buffalo to win their DIVISIONS because I thought it wouldn't be close and neither team did it

I'm not educated outside of high school diploma, I was fortunate to have a successful career in Corrections which I since retired from and am now in Manufacturing

I deal with Electricians, plumbers and contractors all the time and they are hurting for good people, College isn't the only way to do it but in the right field it would sure help

Tricky question. The college "experience" is vital, I think, although I never had one myself, my kids gave me vicarious thrills. The education doesn't necessarily come only from the classroom. The college life with family support is a secure as an eagle's nest, but when it's time to fly they each have to figure it out. My son did very well out of school and went on a good career path. My daughter chose a much more difficult path and it will take time for if/when she lands the so-called "dream job".

A cursory glance at the standings tells me that both North divisions could be a dogfight all season, each with 4 solid teams right now. To the Fates and Graces, please allow these squads to stay healthy so we can see it happen.

My oldest son is a Union plumber, he apprenticed for 4 years. My middle son has his own re-hab and carpentry business. Number three is a journeyman tool and die maker. All are in their mid-40’s with High School education. The trades offer a lot of opportunities but aren’t for everyone.

Some of the most intelligent, talented, resourceful and successful persons I know have limited formal education (high school graduates and even many who did not even graduate from high school).

Further, some people I know with much formal education (college educated, including those with one or more graduate degrees) are sorely lacking in many areas of their lives leading them to be unhappy, discontented and frustrated.

Of course, the extent to which one is educated is only one of many factors which contribute to a person's life. Other factors come into play and collectively all factors combine to dictate the path (good or bad) a person travels in life.

    Crazy

This seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Apparently the superficial clot was know before and they told him to not go to sleep for 36 hours or something then he played anyway with the clot in his leg and flew home with the team instead of being treated in London. Youre not supposed to get on flights with clots that havent hardened into the vein. Theres more too and this just keeps getting worse and worse the more its released

Colts should have fired him as soon as he took Richardson 4th over. He deserves to get fired for that pick alone. I said it during the draft, dude just looks like he should be on the cover of a fitness magazine and just sucks as a QB

With Josh it’s getting to the point where I’m going to have to get my autographed rookie cards of him graded. Crazy TD pass he had where he flipped the ball into the end zone. It’s too bad it doesn’t look like his SB chances are very good with that bad defense because every game he knows going in his offense needs to score 30 just to have a chance.

Richardson is the poster child of you want to play with him in video games but just sucks in real life if you arent doing combine drills. He started one year at FL and cost them more than one game. He was over 100 out of college QBs for accuracy. I laughed so hard when they drafted him 4th. That pick is right up there with the Rams wasting a first round pick on Ty Simpson in win now mode. Not really sure which one is worse

Good chance Hurts career is going to be over. More info came out, and Hurts has multiple blood clots in his lungs as well.

That is not good, hope the guy is ok

Theres more too and this just keeps getting worse and worse the more its released

oh boy, i hadnt heard that one. good grief. he flew with that thing in his leg!!!

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

And lungs, and they didnt let him sleep for 26 hours before the game, and they knew he had the clot and played him anyway instead of immediately starting blood thinners like youre supposed to. Seems like someone is not several people should be in deep crap over this
