You SEC homers crack me up. Is it an automatic part of that syndrome to hate the Buckeyes?? 😂😂😂
Ohio State is the only team in the Top 7 to win in regulation time and they move down according to the Bull Rider. And the basebal gu thinks they are the only team in the entirety of NCAA football that got “lucky” yesterday, whatever that’s supposed to mean.
I would really enjoy watching a game with you two, any game, just to see your reaction to what’s happening on the field. Just amazing.
My revised Top 12:
Miami
Ohio State
BYU
Indiana
Texas Tech
Notre Dame
‘Ole Miss
Utah
UCLA
Tennessee
Kentucky
Iowa

The big question for next week: Which powerhouse teams from the SEC that are in the Top 12 will lose?? I’m thinking of these three candidates:
‘Ole Miss
Tennessee
Kentucky
The trick with that Conference isn’t in “getting” into the Top 12, there are plenty of Voters who will see to that. But “staying” there is another story because that entails playing. That’s the tricky part. 😂😂

You SEC guys never stay consistent in how you analyze things. You like to talk Strength of Schedule until it's inconvenient and you fail to view things in the time that they happened. Ohio State lost to Texas when the Longhorns were ranked 4th and slipped six spots. That doesn't change because Texas is now having problems. What Ohio State has done already doesn't change because their QB is injured. As @galaxy pointed out, every SEC team seems fully capable of beating and losing to every other team in the Conference. I don't know what that means but it can't be twisted around to be a good thing. The most liberal interpretation is that the Conference is comprised of a bunch of average teams. That will probably change as the season continues and 1-2-3 teams will show themselves to be dominant, but right now noe of them are. You can't hide from that or make excuses for it. It just is.

That basebal gu wants to think Ohio State got lucky and doesn't seem capable of looking at it from the other side. Did Indiana get lucky?? Watch that play again, there are 14 men in the box, 7 from each team with Ohio State bull-rushing Josh Hoover. Even Gus Johnson tells the truth when he exclaims "Hoover just throws it up!!" because that's what he did. Hoover had no time to get set so he threw off his back foot.
Call it luck if you want, but Ohio State tried to force the throw and did. Josh Hoover tried to hurry his throw and he did, making a very accurate heave. The receiver tried to make the catch and he did but his foot was out of bounds. No luck involved, just some very tactical and skillful play by both teams.
Those kind of plays happen every week in every game. Are they all luck or are they all just football?? Tell us Mr. Know It All and then defend all the luck around the NCAA each game.

Fahey looked totally unprepared for the moment and the Coaching Staff looked even worse. Ohio State has an extremely talented roster but the offensive side of it doesn't seem up to the task. Ever since Brian Hartline left for South Florida the team has played a little out of synch. On the bright side, the defense has recovered well as the season has progressed so they'll have to carry things till Fahey can figure something out. In the meantime, the OC has to help him with play calling because their opponents, if they are paying attention, will think run and blitz on every play.

Just hang on for a few weeks, Alabama will rebound and Ohio State will start losing because they don't have a QB. There's plenty in the future to have fun with. If you're smart you'll start finding the images to use right now.

He wasnt ready to play for sure. Im not saying hes anything special but when you dont have a QB issue a 18-20 year old backup is just going in expecting to just have a great seat to watch the game. He probably got like 5 maybe 10 percent of snaps in practice not all of which would be with the first team. Only way he was going in was injury or to do kneel downs. The only ones that really are more prepared are the ones that get the heads up if so and so struggles were going to make the switch to you.
Plus look at their schedule. SoCal is allergic to defense, Oregon loses big games and is nothing special maybe not even very good this year, Nebraska their roster alone should be able to carry the game with the talent difference if their corners remember how to play football, Northwestern could be tough but by far a yea your screwed game. Michigan they are way better than but Days history against them who knows. Its not like they have any monsters left and they just played the worst game they could have and still got lucky and won.

You got it all wrong. Its not just the fact that Miami has played a soft schedule. Its how bad they looked in yesterdays game.
This list would make more sense if you were trying to rage bait people as someone who works in social media. Utah at 4 when theyve played no one, Georgia at 10, UCLA at 6 ahead of Ole Miss and TT, and Iowa at 8 lol
Thats not even a good effort. If you want to rage bait for a social post on other platforms you slip one in not just make it a disaster where it wouldnt even get a lot of clicks or engagement its so bad.

Wrong. If the voters weren't still living in 2016 with the sec bias, my ranking would be a lot more accurate. Why do you have a problem with Utah, but not Miami, when both teams have played no one?
Iowa would beat almost any sec team imo. UCLA is undefeated and is current AP #9. So not that big of a difference.

I have nothing against Miami. If they looked better against FSU, I would have them at #2.
The big question is why do you hate Ohio State so much. Putting them at #6 on your poll is a bit ridiculous. Oh thats right, they dont have sec beside their name.

Nope applying different standards to different teams is wrong. Iowa would be in the bottom tier of the SEC
Rivalry games matter when anything can happen remember? Youve posted about that Miami and FSU and their biggest rivals
Why do you have a problem with Miami but not Utah or UCLA or Iowa?

Yes they could because they have a pretty good defense.
Lemme know when they play a top QB. Archie is the only one that has flashes of it but is too inconsistent and once again Indiana wins that game if the WR has any spacial awareness and puts his foot down in bounds.
Facing a bunch of trash QBs Arch who really iisnt that good and Stark will get fired probably sometime in the next year or two with how he never got better will keep that number low. Hoover was the best theyve faced and had the game winning pass muffed by his WR

Indiana probably wouldn't had been in position to win the game if Sayin wouldnt had gotten hurt. You also dont mention that the Buckeyes rushed 7 players on that last play. The QB is about to get smacked as he released the ball. It wasn't like he had all day to throw the ball. Otherwise, the pass would've been thrown more inside for a easy TD.
I love the term "Kick six" but I'll be honest I've never heard it before. Also with the unusual plays we had a fumble n a 2 point conversion returned the other way https://x.com/NDSUfootball/status/2111616846260486340
I wonder if Luke Fahey will rise to the occasion and have a Cardale Jones moment or two?? The team should be starting to work on that today and over the next 10-11 days Fahey’s arm and brain will get a workout.

OSU is strong on both sides of the ball but at some point in most games your going to have to throw the ball, they best cook some stuff up for this kid otherwise I truly think they will struggle to put some of these teams away idk the rest of their schedule but without Sayin this team is drastically different

Just throw it to Smith., Theres really only 3 threats with whats left, SoCal who doesnt play D, Oregon who has been a huge disappointment who loses big games anyway and Northwestern.

I thought the point was that the SEC has no bottom tier. I think Iowa would do just fine against the SEC. No extra points for their inconsistency.

Terrible tragedy at the UTSA game.

terrible doesn't begin to describe it
I love the term "Kick six" but I'll be honest I've never heard it before. Also with the unusual plays we had a fumble n a 2 point conversion returned the other way

I wonder if Luke Fahey will rise to the occasion and have a Cardale Jones moment or two?? The team should be starting to work on that today and over the next 10-11 days Fahey’s arm and brain will get a workout.

Ughh that is awful!
OSU is strong on both sides of the ball but at some point in most games your going to have to throw the ball, they best cook some stuff up for this kid otherwise I truly think they will struggle to put some of these teams away idk the rest of their schedule but without Sayin this team is drastically different
I would be surprised if they dont go with St Clair at some point. He is very mobile athletic type QB. He will get his shot one way or the other.

Sayin had been bad that game and already threw 2 picks and was missing wide open guys. Its not like he was carving them up and got hurt
Fire AJ Preller
Just throw it to Smith., Theres really only 3 threats with whats left, SoCal who doesnt play D, Oregon who has been a huge disappointment who loses big games anyway and Northwestern. Nebraska the rest of the roster should be able to carry the team, and Michigan just isnt good but who knows with how Day coaches against them
Fire AJ Preller
That's the thing, can he get it to Smith when they are doubling and tripling him lol
We shall see, I don't hate OSU so I'm not rooting for them to fail I just don't see it going good without Sayin
Now that's funny as I dont remember the Indiana offense playing any better.

You literally just proved the point that OSU should have been piling up points with Sayin playing the vast majority of the game

If they cant beat Nebraska then they should just all pretend to be sick and cancel the Michigan game.
