i know a lot of UT fans, and many of them crashed out after last weekend's loss. i'm talking livid. they're completely over both Sarkisian & Arch. if Texas goes from beating Ohio St. and reaching #1 to all but out of the CFP after a third straight loss, heads are going to roll.

i just can't imagine a scenario where Manning starts again if that happens. he'll drag Sarkisian's job to the bottom of the Colorado River if he keeps sticking him out there and they keep losing. he shows occasional glimpses, but he's turnover prone and he processes slowly. bottom line, he's an average quarterback. it's the nepotism and the cash keeping him alive. if his last name wasn't Manning and he wasn't making millions, his ass would be glued to the bench by now. in the biggest games against the stiffest competition this season, he has thrown one more tuddy than picks.

i've never liked UT, so i'm the #1 Ole Miss fan this weekend. i want to see this thing combust.

I just cannot see Ole Miss losing unless they do the OSU thing and get a comfortable first half lead and then let Texas just hang around for the rest of the game and lose it that way which is entirely plausible because most Head Coaches could get out coached by a middle school kid in Madden

Same thing with Indiana at the Big House

Why discuss ratianlly when it's easier to post dumb pictures to try to make a point or silly charts to try to show who knows what.

I want Old Miss to win too. Im so sick of Sark and Arch wasting top rosters. Arch was overhyped for sure because of the last name, but he has those flashes so the ability is there. Hes just literally never gotten any better and this is his 3rd year starting and 4th year in the program.

His NFL draft stock is very low right now especially with this QB class, so unless he goes on a run hes probably coming back to college. Im seeing rumors he might be the Ole Miss QB next year but whatever he does this has to almost certainly be his last year as a Longhorn before he gets run out of town

I don’t think Texas is as bad as those 2 losses but Manning got where he’s at with the name. I also don’t think Alabama and Georgia are as bad as there losses made them look, but College Football is all about being undefeated. Both Miami and BYU are as flawed as anyone and might not make it through the season unscathed. It a strange season thus far.

    At least if/when Ohio State loses(again) they’ll have a good excuse. 😂😂😂

Ever since the Texas loss the media has really been making negative reports about Ohio State, they are fun to read. The new dog-pile on the rabbit seems to be predicting how many games the Buckeyes will lose. Second after that is the Ryan Day critiquing. Seems to be a case of MeFirst-ism, so reporters and “experts” can claim they said something first.

In the meantime the pressure is on all the undefeated to stay that and all the one loss teams to avoid number 2. Alabama remains on the periphery as the only 2 loss teams currently with a chance at making it into the Top 12.

This has been a really turbulent season to date. There will most likely be a lot more shifting around before Championship Weekend. That should be a doozy!! It might come down for some teams to win that game to make it into.

Texas Star Simmons listed as doubtful for Texas against Ole Miss

Ole Miss has 1 OL out and 2 listed as questionable.

JMU can stop getting ranked votes now after being upset by App State. Was a really good game but always funny to watch Nappier lose. Was surprising to see him get a top G5 job after what he did to FL

@perkdog, the way the season has gone it’s hard to feel good about any team. That goes double for the SEC teams right now, they each seem capable of losing to each other but not necessarily capable of beating each other. That’s to say we know when 2 SEC teams play that one will win, it is doubly hard to get a fix on who that will be. The past is no longer prelude.

It’s a strange year in College football.

Roster turn over is a thing. What happened last year or year before doesnt matter.

Theyre the best team in the conference and have been for a couple years and just didnt get it done. Not every team in the conference has an easier schedule but most of the season any given week OSU will be the best team on the field especially in conference play.

Texas has their two Edges out, and Smothers is now out as well. They also have a OL listed as out , and a young distraction WR out too.

Ole miss upgraded their C to probable and took Lacy off the injury report. Davis the LT is still listed as questionable

Texas has some big time guys out. I like Ole Miss. How much do you trust Arch to win a game that he might have to score a lot? He still has Wingo and Coleman but they havent been what they should be so far with him

After Indiana beats Michigan the question becomes how far should they fall in the Poll??

I’m starting to think that the problem with teams this season is that they are either over/under emotionally prepared for these inter-conference rivalry games. Either too up or too down.

BYU not playing very well against 3-3 UCF. Their TD was just a fabulous pitch and catch but early in the 2nd quarter they certainly aren’t playing like a no. 2.

Texas Tech at 8 falls and probably drops out of the Top 12, Northwestern wins easily and should probably move up inside of 15. To my thinking things are gonna be shaken up again.
