Currently it’s hard to figure out the SEC and Big 10. Consequently, it’s hard to figure out the best teams in those Conferences.
Former #1 Texas and former Top 10 Florida and LSU each have 2 losses, Alabama has a loss which leaves Georgia as the only undefeated team. In the Big 10 only UCLA is undefeated and both Oregon and Ohio State are now without their starting QB’s.
We may yet see a Georgia loss and it’s not out of the question that Notre Dame finishes as the only undefeated team. The twist is that they are an Independent. The longer the season goes the more I’m thinking there will be some 2-loss teams in the Playoff and maybe even the first 3-loss team.

That is amplified when it’s a Home Game and/or the opponent is unranked.
