The fact that you’re comparing and analyzing reactions to various injuries tells us all we need to know. You’re the expert. Next time I witness a car crash or just a little old lady crumpling in a crosswalk, I’ll think about how you’d react to it with the notion that you’ll brush it off as simply a minor incident. You reference internet memes and fan reaction as if it’s really meaningful. It’s people piling on. Please try to accept the real fact - YOU DON’T KNOW how another person feels their pain. Only your own.

i know the normal pain reaction to a minor injury. as do most people. i guess you are not one of those people who know things. you must be one of those gen z folks who only know "their truth" as opposed to "the truth."

Craig…. Simple question. Don’t you think part of his reaction after pulling the hammy was out of frustration and having the sudden realization that he was going to be losing playing time?
If yes, then wouldn’t you want your QB to be ticked off about missing playing time or should he not care and remain stoic?

Damn you’re soft basebal21. I pulled my hammy twice in 2 months playing softball and never had a compression sleeve or wrap or anything put on it. Just limped around until it got better. I wouldn’t have known what a compression sleeve was back then. And I do remember it hurting when trying to sleep so don’t tell me about there not being pain.
You’re soft if you ever had anything wrapped around a pulled hammy. Tough it out like a man.

Glad to hear your boo boo from your beer league softball league that was probably coed got better.

Some of us played real sports. I was getting paid playing professional baseball in the minors, have caught innings with a completely torn PCL until my knee just gave out, multiple broken wrists that just taped up etc but sure a rec league softball league is the same

If your boo boo from softball hurt when you were trying to sleep thats a you thing. It doesnt hurt unless you try and sprint and then you get the stabbing pain. You really should have kept the fact that you cant run 60 feet in rec league softball without hurting yourself to comparing it to real injuries to yourself

Basebal you probably don’t want to compare injuries with me. In my younger days I was accident prone, I won’t go into it but now that I’m older all I’ve done is survived cancer for 5 years and counting.
I’m done with the subject which was about Caleb being soft which is laughable because just becoming an NFL QB is contrary to that argument.

Got a good game coming up tomorrow night. Old time rivals, Steelers vs. Browns. Looking forward to a slugfest.

I am glad you beat the cancer but the topic was sports injuries not medical health complications that have nothing to do with sports which everyone goes through to some extent myself included with a bad surgery that ended my career.

Hes soft. He was having a bad game then acted like he needed an ambulance. Saw a way out and took it and ended up week to week over basically nothing

possibly?? i think the leader of a team and the player in its most important position needs to reel in the "frustration." especially in public. In front of fans, teammates, other teams, the media. yes, you fake it.

you get frustrated and throw chairs, whatever he needs to do when he is safely back in the training room, in private, getting treatment. completely lose it in private, but when you are on the field you keep composure. pretend you are not in pain. it is just terrible optics.

These types of clashes in a live setting such as a football stadium typically conclude with beer tsunamis, food tornadoes and Security officers sorting out the villains, so I’m just happy to be a nerd in an online ball pit. 🤣

Im fine with anger being displayed like when Ortiz almost killed Pedroia in the dugout destroying the dugout phone. You just cant show frustration in the Im a giant you know what kind of way, that just makes everyone want to give up and that attitude is contagious

Can’t wait for the game tonight, if the chorus of boo-birds gets loud enough maybe we'll see Sanders. I just can't imagine Watson having a productive night. If I was him I'd wear dancing shoes because the Steelers will probably give him nervous feet all night.

Although Watson has under thrown a couple passes this is the best I’ve seen him throw and the best I’ve seen him moving around in the pocket in quite some time. It makes me think of when he staged a nice comeback against the Ravens a few years ago.

Also, it’s nice to watch ex-Buckeye Quinshon Judkins having a nice game.

Yeah, the penalties are really over the top, but the defense has played well. That hit on Metcalf was Classic Browns/Steelers.

    1 Fumble lost.
    1 Interception thrown.
    14 Penalties.

I don't know how you make that many mistakes and still win a football game, it just doesn't make sense. It's the first NFL game I've watched from start to finish in several years so someone has to explain it to me.

Add to that an entirely new Offensive line and two Rookie WR's playing in a game with two first season Head Coaches. Probably more but my head hurts to think about it.

I had to look it up, but the Oakland Raiders actually had 23 penalties in a game once and the record for both teams goes back to 1952, Bears vs. Browns with 37!!

Got curious about the 14 penalties, so I looked it up. Since 2009, teams with exactly 14 penalties in a game are 25-31 (.446). Here's the full breakdown by penalty count:

    Penalties Games W L T Win %
    0 30 19 11 0 .633
    1 167 95 72 0 .569
    2 409 215 194 0 .526
    3 820 460 360 0 .561
    4 1,192 612 579 1 .514
    5 1,376 728 647 1 .529
    6 1,389 691 696 2 .498
    7 1,238 592 637 9 .482
    8 904 425 476 3 .472
    9 660 314 344 2 .477
    10 502 214 287 1 .427

Well, Aaron Rodgers, the Bear Hunter, champion to all showed us his better side last night while side-eyeing and berating teammates, throwing fits, cussing out his coach and generally exuding the traits of a very grumpy old man. And still managed to get his team a chance to win, if only the defense could have made a stop. Consummate pro. :D

I think the brunt of it was there was some issues getting him a play on time, he was furious about that

I want to beat up Rodgers but he played a solid game as far as I'm concerned, his defense lost that game not his offensive teamates

I'm hereby referencing the contention that he supposedly "manned up" when he tore his Achilles. Apparently he just sat there and waited for the medical team, but didn't yell or cry or wave to his adoring fans. But, when he doesn't get what he wants he has the potential for hissy fit episodes and howls like a petulant child. Just sayin'. ;)
