Maybe I should have another one of these so I don’t keep repeating it. 😅

Don’t feel bad. With my smallish collection, I end up playing a fair number of reruns myself. Think of it like a deck of cards that gets shuffled. The same card might come up every now and again, right?

Wasn't sure if 1859 was still appropriate?
It was. Spud’s token had that date on it.
The main question is how to respond to your post. I suppose it would be 1859 or any pattern, but one could also play a $20 Liberty, I suppose, since that’s the main design. Reckon that’s what I’ll do, since I don’t have an 1859 handy, and certainly no pattern coins!

@Coinbert arrived literally one minute too late with that Barber dime, so it looks like @gpnyc ’s 1899 medal is still in play. I’ll play from token/medal with one of my newps. So now 1850 or token/medal to the next player.

OK, here, let's do this. I'll post this 1863 Indian cent (playing off 1863), and then the @Coinscratch 1902 above can be played (playing off Indian cent).
This thing is kinda ugly (-ish), but it's got a 180° die rotation error and was very cheap.
NOW we can play the @Coinscratch 1902 Indian cent, so the next play will be 1902 or Indian Head cent.
There. Fixed it fer ya!

OK, so this one doesn't look like much, but it was the first coin from the 1800s I ever found while metal detecting, in August of 1993. About 20-30 minutes after I dug this one, I also found an 1875 Indian cent nearby. I was excited. I never got tired of digging stuff from the 1800s! (Much later, it would be the 1700s... 1600s... and even the 1300s, when I went to England.)
PS- I've been told this coin has some kind of transitional reverse variety? I don't know zip about that stuff.

Not really, since we were on 1863 or token/medal. Close, but no cigar, I reckon. Helluva nice coin, though.

Another detector find. Found right next to a 1902-O quarter, which almost certainly fell out of the same pocket.
