If who you play and lose to really matters then both LSU and ‘Ole Miss should both drop out of the Top 10. ‘Ole Miss wasn’t beaten, they got an old fashioned trip to the woodshed.

Texas squeaked by a team ranked past the playoff point.
Ohio State won handily but showed they have things to fix.
Notre Dame won going away.
Georgia won going away.
That’s just the games completed thus far. The “Committee” will have some tough choices to make this week. It’s their first Vote of reckoning.

I like Miami, they have a good Head Coach and some really good players. They seem to be a solid all-around team. So I'll ask the question nobody seems to care about: Why are they playing a non-conference cupcake during Week 4??

I hate the slide rule in football. It puts the QB into a dangerous position at the point of contact. The defender has around .25 to .4 seconds to react. Football isn’t the realm of intelligence and I don’t expect this to change until a head comes off.
I feel bad for Moore but I think it’s an over reaction. Bad luck.

Youd have to make the employees to fine them which means retirement plans, healthcare, salaries for everyone, wrongful termination lawsuits for cutting someone etc. Making them employees is the last thing the NCAA or the schools want to have happen

ND way to high, they havent played anyone. Their only real hard game is Miami, BYU is a legit game but theyre probably overrated and SMU may or may not be a real game by that point of the season with how up and down theyve been. They lost to Louisville who just lost to Wake Forrest who had to go to double OT to beat a bad Perdue team and got dominated by Miami

That seems like a bad idea and I see near misses and game changing penalties all the time because of this silly rule.
Why do we have so many rushing QBs? Because of these rules which give a certain position subjective advantage. What a ridiculous game football has become.

We have so many rushing QBs now because thats what colleges value and scheme around. Even the major high schools want QBs that can get out of trouble and move. The Peytons and Rivers of the world might be overlooked if they were to have come up in the game today just like Maddux may have never gotten a chance at the pros for not throwing hard enough.
Coaches just wanting to recruit guys that can run is how we end up with the Jalien Milroes and Anthony Richardsons of the world who just suck as QBs but look good on paper
The ironic part is the LSU QB got better when he hurt his leg and was playing on one leg forcing him to stay in the pocket and be a true pocket passer instead of taking off running at the slightest bit of pressure using that as a crutch like so many QBs do
