    Thanks, Tim.

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

In light of changes at SGC, I decided to try CGC. Pleased with grades, aligned with my grading eye. $18 a card, 4 month turnaround. I like the holder and label. These on line images are a bit washed out. Taking a wait and see approach - I'd use them again if they can stay 4 months or under.

So, your CGC experience was good? I have 50 or so I want to send off and am toying with sending them there.

Yes, overall positive experience. I also had 2 autos authenticated (JSA), which I posted earlier. I reached out to their customer service one time with a newbie question and they got back to me within 24 hrs.

How big is the physical holder for the CGC compared to PSA/SGC? I ask because PSA fits better on my display cases and I’ve always preferred it to the larger SGC.

CGC is about 1/4" thicker than PSA. Other dimensions are pretty much the same. My advice is not to send them any card you would not want to lose, they have sticky fingers issues.

Agree, size of holder is almost identical, CGC just a bit thicker (maybe 1/16th of an inch). In fact, at times I've used PSA Superior Fit sleeves for both.

Interesting. The thickness is the least critical of the dimensions for my display so that’s good. Might be a factor for me to try to give them a try. Might sound silly but hey …

Thanks, yours too. I've also been looking at 1980 Bourque & Messier cards but I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet.

That's a nicely centered 80 OPC Gretzky SPF.

And a really good looking 7!

Been sorting through the collection and picked out these nice packs. I don’t collect sealed packs but I thought they were cool showing people of interest. The Hoops pack has Jordan in front.

    Love that Bo pack!

Can you scan the ones you want grades on front and back at 300dpi? I would take a shot at AI grading and then you can compare to what you get if you ever submit.

Note. Put a PSA slab in the scan next to it. I need that for accurate measurement of card size. Or a ruler etc. if you use a ruler place it aligned with the scan so I can also be sure your scanner is calibrated.

So, you have two (2) 1966 Topps Cello packs 1st series?

No I am saying the odds for pulling either a mantle or rose is 1 in 2 packs. Both are double printed. 12 card pack with 88 card series. Both being double printed odds are 1 in 4 packs will have either card. So 1 in 2 packs should a Mantle or Rose in the pack. Am I wrong thinking this?

I’ll try to do that when I get back from vacation.

You found the nicest 1.5 on the planet Keith!

I have 7s that don't look that good. Nice pickup.
