    Stefanie was a good friend for many years via messaging. I truly regret never having met her in person. Loved her collection. My prayers for her and her family. So, so sad.

    This is so heartbreaking. She posted on the linked page that she was selling her coins to get a kidney transplant. She was supposed to get better. This is beyond belief.

    I am very sorry to hear this. She and I shared an interest in 19th century political tokens. I sold her a piece at one time. :/

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    I also had the honor to communicate with her and can only say that she was one of the good ones. She was an architect in Palos Verdes CA for the longest. I lived there for a while and we talked about that. She had beautiful taste in tokens and I remember loving one that she had in particular but didn't want to part with it. I believe it was a wonderfully toned Fuctenwagner.

    Terrible tragic news, but thank you for posting Dan. We collected different types of coins but often discussed medical issues and we had a mutual friend, Broadstruck, also gone way too soon.

    She planned well for those she left behind, and she knew how frail her health was for several years.
    I will miss her posts and her passion for her tokens, RIP Steph.

    Stephanie had such a passion for exonumia, I really enjoyed her posts, our personal correspondences and the handful of deals. I went and looked and the last thing she told me was a compliment... what a class act. You will be missed @coinsarefun

    First Frank ("Broadstruck") and now Steph...it's been a rough few years. They were really close friends, and shared a love for, and immense knowledge of, this wonderful hobby. We will miss them both. I know I will.

    Terrible news. I bought a PCGS Regency holder she consigned to an auction in 2022. We had a nice chat about the purchase and I knew there were health concerns even at that time.

    Stef and I used to correspond in the early 2000s about Conder tokens. She also built a website showcasing her collection along with a corresponding message board. She was such an enthusiast for the hobby and her positive orientation, despite her awful medical challenges, was inspiring. It is such sad news that she is no longer with us. :(

    I would mistakenly refer to her as,
    "Dude".
    Then, she would quickly respond back and correct me and say,
