Buff offense looked great again last night. Allen is so impressive. 2 more rushing TD. currently at 83 for his career. 18th on the all time list!!

i wrote that short novel about their defense against the Saints on the gambling thread, but as entertaining as i tried to make it, there was a ton of truth involved. anyone who caught last night's game witnessed it firsthand. outside of Hutchinson they have no talent on that side of the ball, and they're going nowhere this season as a result.

I don’t get prime or whatever the Thursday games are on so what about the Buffalo defense? They’ve given up 31 points two games in a row. Will the defense improve enough to be a SB contender or can they contend by out scoring opponents every week?

I wonder if Gibbs is going to get a record number of touches this season, that kid is a beast but his workload might be too much to keep up all season, without him they will be even more screwed

i shoot very straight, and i'm about to do it now
i've backed Murray for a long time, but i'm here to tell you that in the 11 snaps he took before he almost had his head separated from his body, i observed the EXACT SAME THING i saw in Arizona
scrambling aimlessly, unsure of what to do, herky jerky, making ill-advised throws (his first pass was pathetic), and the few passes he did complete were dinks and dunks. nothing appeared seamless. it was a hard watch.
can't believe i'm about to say this, but the best possible scenario for my team is for him to make it thru the concussion protocol and start on Sunday. i really don't want to see Carson Wentz. again, did i just say that? the Vikes looked like a completely different offense with him at the helm. it was a teeny, tiny sample size, but what i saw from Kyler was a carbon copy of what i witnessed when he played in Arizona
i have a sneaking suspicion that that experiment is not going to pan out, and it only took roughly a dozen plays for it to come into focus

Honestly, the chances of Wentz having another great game is slim, and having back to back great games is even slimmer.

Stop underestimating Wentz... early days when he went down in a destined season for the Eaglets everyone thought that their season was over... until a Former Backup Packers QB had to save that season and win the Super Bowl. Wentz is the best QB on that roster even if Murray is healthy. The funny thing is that anyone thought McCarthy was ever a QB1.

Wentz was good for 5 minutes but I do agree he is probably their best option since McCarthy belongs back at Michigan

After 1-2 seasons of the PCGS Sports Furum pundits weighing in on McCarthy, only for him to be defended by @JoeBanzai it appears the Vikings have had their fill of him. He would seem to have peaked in his last year with Michigan, struggled on a plateau for a few years and now is presumed done.
The guys at this site are like a rogue group of Scouts, often very terse and opinionated but usually right.

i know Caleb got hurt, but he was out there for 3 1/2 quarters
from 59 points last week to 3 this week
Flores is going to be an HC again sooner rather than later, and rightfully so

i didnt watch the whole game, but the Chiefs offense looked good to me last night. I think it is their defense that will hold them back. there is no way a daniel jones led offense should score 30 on them.

NFL coaches are stupid
They continue to go for it in 4th down instead of punting or kicking an easy FG when the game is still flowing
They also are not smart enough to keep blitzing when it's trying to stop the QB's ability to generate yards and points
Minnesota did a great job shutting Williams down though

agreed. it would be infuriating to me if i were a lions fan especially.
another thing that is getting to me are the new kicking balls. I think they should go back to the old way, getting the balls 60 or so minutes before the game. it certainly makes the game less interesting to me when a team only has to gain 20 yards (or less) from a kickoff to be in field goal range.

He is the sole reason why the Lions missed the Super Bowl and now their window is shut

for me, it boils down to this: does your voice and words make the game more entertaining, or is it a hindrance? are you adding value by way of knowledge i don't already possess, or are you prone to stating the obvious?
there are so many guys who come across as ignorant in their own special way, and it makes me want to pound on the mute button
i can't take Brady, i can't take Collinsworth, i can't take Romo, i can't take Aikman. whenever one of those guys is on the call, i feel a dip in my IQ over those three hours. and i don't have enough points between my ears to constantly take hits like that.
even Drew Brees puts me to the test. he's smart, he doesn't try to be funny, and he doesn't say idiotic things. but he's devoid of personality/energy. i caught him yesterday (Eagles-Titans) and he almost put me to sleep.
my favorite tandem was Burkhardt-Olsen. i love their individual styles, and i loved their synergy. so much for that.

Sure, everyone swears in everyday life but there are certain situations when decorum is necessary. If anyone is unable to control themselves they are either a pig or they just don’t care.
The thing that makes me nuts is when someone uses “fricken” in a social setting and nobody seems to mind. Everyone knows that word is a substitute so either have the balls to say what you mean or find a different word. We are all educated people, Tom Brady also, he should use his education.

foul language should not be used by professional broadcasters who are commentating on the game. it shows a real lack of self control.

i can honestly enjoy just about anyone who is commenting on a game. admittedly i have very low standards for play by play/color commentators. just keep it clean.

I rarely watch a NFL game any longer. What I prefer by far, when I'm in the mood for a broadcast, is finding on the internet the local radio broadcast, and listening to that on the computer. There's only been a few that I haven't been able to find. Well those guys, in my opinion, are heads and tails better than the TV broadcasters. Yes the radio guys are homers, but so what, they provide great insights on the game and players that the TV guys don't seem to offer.
The best part of all, is I can do my work or whatever on the computer at the same time. The only problem is no matter how hard I try not to, about once a year, I'm engrossed in work while listening to the game, carelessly grab for a drink and spill it. I get hissed off for 5 minutes while cleaning up the mess. Fortunately I haven't yet spilled a drink on the keyboard, but I know one day that's coming. I do keep a spare keyboard in the closet for when that occurs - LOL
